ZRS is currently looking for a Area Executive to provide leadership for all business group units and manage the distribution of all products and services located in the assigned area in order to establish market presence, identify and grow newer, less mature distributor relationships and increase market share.

Reporting to Head of ZRS, you will lead an operational team to enhance sales and distribution processes, ensuring continuous performance improvement to meet business objectives. By translating business goals into actionable plans and leading project implementations.

*What you will do - *

• Drives market basket strategies.

• Monitors performance as it relates to grow, monitor and maintain baskets and the underlying profitability of each market basket.

• Monitor pricing trends against loss trends, plans targets

• Work with regional underwriting managers to develop strategies to achieve pricing targets.

• Ensures the optimal deployment of resources as they drive the execution of the financial and operation plan.

• Translate business objectives into clearly defined business cases, costs or schedules in order to support achievement of a work area.

• Monitor performance and identify consistent non-compliance issues escalated by other team members, and highlight patterns for senior members of the team to address.

• Analyze key themes from a wide range of data sources in order to identify how different scenarios may impact upon the business and make recommendations to improve sales processes and effectiveness.

• Design and implement business process standards and deliver programs / campaigns to ensure they are adhered to.

• Evaluate the most complex customer/distributor issues and service requests and develop bespoke technical solutions to enable the organization to meet their needs within policy constraints, and make changes to drive channel/segment growth where possible.

• Develop and manage on-going relationships with key internal stakeholders, distributors and customers in order to identify and deliver solutions that benefit both parties.

• Leverage the appropriate tools to improve sales effectiveness and pursue improvement of channel or customer segment capabilities across multiple geographies (including development of customer or distributor insights; segmentation and value proposition.

• Build targeted growth opportunities (e.g. development of the distribution network and tenders working with local businesses), working cross-functionally with colleagues and distributors to drive growth for the business.

Job Qualifications

What you bring to the table:

Required:

• Bachelors Degree and 8 or more years of experience in the Sales area

AND

• Commercial insurance industry experience

• 2 or more years in leadership roles including change management

• Knowledge of the market participants, practices and products

• Supervisory and management experience

Preferred:

• Knowledge of customer, distribution and relationship strategies and roles

• Ability to effectively align resources with business opportunity and develop staff
